Today I want to share with you a product that I have come to love using in my home. I have found it helpful for certain tasks and enjoyable to use.

Lemon oil.

Unassuming and fresh, lemon essential oil is good for many things.

But first, let’s talk about WHY you should consider using it.

Why to use lemon oil.

1. It’s natural.

Lemon oil is simple and natural. There’s nothing artificial or complicated about it, and using it is a great way to build a healthy home.

2. It’s safe and non-toxic.

As a Mom, I want to limit the toxins to which my kids are exposed. Lemon oil is a great, safe alternative.

3. It’s multi-purpose.

As I will soon explain, lemon oil has many uses. If you want to declutter and simplify your home, lemon oil could be a great essential to keep around.

4. It smells wonderful!

Surprise, surprise! Lemon oil smells like lemons! And who doesn’t love that?

Uses for Lemon Oil

1. Deodorizer

Lemon oil can cover up a stinky smell with a fresh scent. If your garbage or compost pails need a wash, lemon oil is a great air freshener.

2. Adhesive remover

If you have a sticky surface, try using lemon oil in place of GooGone or some other conventional product.

3. Stain remover

If you have some berry stains on your table, try putting a little lemon oil on it and let it sit. Then give it a good wipe down. It sometimes works!

4. All-purpose cleaner

Add lemon oil to any all-purpose cleaning spray.

5. Moisturizing scent

Why not add lemon essential oil to your face cream. Talk about refreshing!
